AYPL Workshop: YPL Info Session & Program Overview + Craft Writing Workshop Pt. 1

Teen poets interested in applying to be the next Atlanta Youth Poet Laureate are invited to an info session and craft writing workshop!

This is the first in a series of four workshops that aim to prepare you to complete your AYPL application. Applications will be accepted until 11:59 P.M. EST on Saturday, March 28, 2026. 

The remaining three workshops will be: 

• Thursday, February 26th,  6  p.m. - 7:30 p.m.: Application Breakdown + Poetry Craft + Performance Workshop, Pt. 2

• Thursday, March 12th, 6 p.m. - 7:30 p.m.: Poetry + Craft Performance Workshop Pt. 3

• Thursday, March 19th, 6 p.m. - 7:30 p.m.: Poetry + Craft Performance Workshop Pt. 4
