About VOX ATL
VOX ATL is Atlanta's teen-led media platform, giving young people ages 13–19 the tools, training, and space to tell their own stories. For over 30 years, VOX ATL has trained teen journalists, digital media creators, and community storytellers across the region.
Position Overview
Alumni Ambassadors are former VOX ATL participants who stay connected to the organization as advocates, mentors, and community connectors. Ambassadors help expand VOX ATL's reach, deepen its relationships with current teens, and represent what's possible when young people have access to quality media training.
Responsibilities
Share VOX ATL's work within your personal and professional networks, including on social media
Participate in at least two VOX ATL events per year (panels, showcases, fundraisers, or community gatherings)
Serve as a mentor or guest speaker for current VOX ATL youth participants when invited
Provide testimonials, quotes, or content for VOX ATL communications and campaigns
Connect VOX ATL staff to potential partners, funders, or collaborators within your network
Recruit additional alumni to join the Ambassador program
Keep fellow alumni updated and engaged about VOX ATL programs, events, and initiatives
Offer feedback on programming, alumni engagement, and organizational growth when asked
Time Commitment
Approximately 30 hours per year. Flexible and largely self-directed.

Former VOX ATL participants of any cohort year who are passionate about youth media, storytelling, and the next generation of Atlanta's young voices.
