  • Assess and advise on potential spaces, lease terms, and real estate considerations aligned with VOX ATL's operational and programmatic needs
  • Identify and mitigate legal and compliance issues related to nonprofit real estate, landlord agreements, and liability
  • Evaluate financial implications of relocation options, including funding strategies, budget impact, and long-term sustainability
  • Participate in meetings to review progress, vet options, and guide organizational leadership
  • Connect VOX ATL with additional professional resources, vendors, or partners as needed
  • Contribute to documentation that supports board decision-making and funder communication

Who We're Looking For

  • Real Estate Professionals – commercial brokers, developers, or real estate consultants with experience in nonprofit or small business space acquisition
  • Legal Professionals – attorneys with expertise in nonprofit law, commercial real estate, or lease negotiation
  • Finance Professionals – accountants, financial advisors, or nonprofit finance specialists with budget and capital planning experience
  • VOX Board Members – existing VOX ATL board members with relevant professional expertise who want to deepen engagement in this initiative

All volunteers should have:

  • Genuine interest in supporting youth voice, economic mobility, and media equity
  • Ability to commit 4–6 hours monthly for 6–12 months
  • Willingness to work collaboratively with diverse stakeholders (staff, board, teens, community partners)
  • Comfort offering professional guidance to a young nonprofit organization

  • Strengthen your professional network within Atlanta's nonprofit and civic ecosystem
  • Give back your expertise in a meaningful, time-flexible way
